The multi-layer cross-laminated film construction — HDPE tape crossed at 0° and 90° and bonded between outer layers — gives the sheet strength distributed evenly in every direction, which is what allows it to resist tearing when snagged on scaffolding, rebar or sharp equipment edges during construction or industrial use.

Tested to IS 14611:2016, the heavy weight class carries Elmendorf tear strength ratings around 3200 grams in the machine direction and 2800 grams transverse, with free fall dart impact resistance at 700 grams minimum and accelerated UV resistance confirmed after 192 hours of exposure. UV stabilizer compounded into the polymer during extrusion protects the film through years of continuous sun exposure rather than a single season.
