Products

Indian decorative lighting brings warmth and craft together: hand-moulded clay and brass diyas, scented and decorative candles, tea light holders, candle stands, and table and floor lamps in brass, glass, wood and fabric.Lighting is a strong seasonal category around Diwali, Christmas and weddings, and a steady year-round one for homeware stores. We source from Moradabad brass workers, Khurja potters and candle makers who offer custom fragrances and private label.

Indian decorative lighting: warmth, glow and craft

Indian decorative lighting brings two things together that customers love: a warm glow and handmade craft. Our lighting range covers diyas, candles, tea light holders, candle stands, table lamps and floor lamps, made in brass, iron, glass, clay, wood and fabric.

Lighting is both a seasonal and an everyday category. Diwali, Christmas and the wedding season drive big festive orders, while lamps and candle holders sell all year. So we usually ask buyers first: are you planning for a season, or building a permanent range?

What our lighting range covers

For the festive season

Diyas, candles and tea light holders are the heart of Diwali and Christmas displays.

For every day

Table lamps, floor lamps and candle stands add a handmade statement to living rooms, bedrooms and hotels.

Where our lighting comes from

Moradabad brass and metal

Moradabad artisans cast, hammer, pierce and etch brass and iron into lamps, lanterns, candle stands and tea light holders.

Clay and terracotta

Potters in Khurja and craft villages mould and hand paint terracotta diyas and holders.

Candle makers

Small candle makers pour scented and decorative candles in glass, ceramic and metal containers, often with custom fragrances.

Wood and fabric

Turned wood lamp bases from Saharanpur and shades in block printed and handloom cotton bring textiles into lighting.

Electrical standards

Lamps can be supplied wired to your market’s voltage and plug standard, or without fittings for local wiring. We will always be clear about which certifications each maker can provide.

Planning for festive seasons

Festive lighting is popular and makers get very busy from August onwards. For Diwali and Christmas ranges, we suggest confirming orders by early summer.

Packing and shipping

Glass and clay are packed in cell cartons; metal is wrapped to protect finishes; lamps are boxed individually. We can quote ex-factory, FOB, CFR or CIF, whichever suits you.

Questions about Indian decorative lighting

Can lamps be wired for my country?

Yes, or supplied unwired for local fitting.

Can I order candles with my own fragrance?

Yes, with a minimum per fragrance.

When should I order for Diwali or Christmas?

Ideally by early summer, to give artisans time.

Building a lighting range

For a first order, a mix of festive pieces and everyday pieces works well: diyas and tea light holders for the season, plus a few table lamps and candle stands that sell all year. This balances seasonal peaks with steady sales.

What affects the price

Material, finish, size and electrical fittings matter most. Solid brass costs more than iron, and wired lamps cost more than unwired ones.

Tell us whether you are planning a season or a permanent range, and we will suggest where to start.
