Handwoven Linen Table Runner

This linen table runner is handwoven from linen or a linen-cotton blend in the weaving clusters of Bengal and Andhra Pradesh. Linen yarn has natural slubs and variations in thickness, so the woven cloth has an organic texture and a slightly crumpled look that softens beautifully with washing.

Designs are simple: plain natural linen, fine pinstripes, wider bands in charcoal, navy or rust, or a subtle check near the ends. Edges are finished with a frayed fringe or a neat hem. Linen is absorbent, quick-drying and gets softer with every wash, which makes it practical as well as beautiful.

Typical Buyers

Scandinavian and European homeware stores, farm-to-table restaurants, interior stylists and online slow-living brands buy linen runners year-round. They pair with every other textile in the range. Natural flax with a single charcoal band is the design I would start with. Linen also has a lower water footprint than cotton in many growing regions, which gives sustainability-focused retailers a credible message for the shelf card.

Export Supply and Freight

We test linen content on request, check slub consistency, length and fringe, and pre-wash the runners for a soft finish. Runners are folded with a paper band and cartoned. Shipments of the handwoven linen table runner go from Kolkata, Chennai or Nhava Sheva on ex-factory, FOB, CFR or CIF terms.
