Rectangular Hollow Section (RHS) Structural Tubes from Newton are electric resistance welded structural tubes manufactured to IS 4923, offering directional strength that makes them ideal wherever a structural member needs to resist greater bending load along one axis. Their rectangular profile is widely specified in building frames, transport structures and general fabrication where both strength and a slim visual profile matter.

Newton produces RHS tubes across a broad size range from 30mm x 20mm up to 400mm x 200mm, with wall thicknesses from 1.6mm to 12mm, cold-formed and welded from continuous hot-rolled coil for a consistent profile, straightness and dimensional accuracy along the full tube length. Sections are available in mill black finish or hot-dip galvanized for applications exposed to weather or moisture, and are supplied in standard or custom cut lengths.
RHS tubes from Newton are used in structural steel building frames, purlins, beams and columns, transmission line towers, trailer and truck body chassis, conveyor and machinery frames, and architectural applications such as canopies, pergolas and facade support systems. Their rectangular geometry also makes them a common choice for handrails, staircases and structural glazing support in commercial and residential projects.
Each production run is tested for wall thickness uniformity, corner profile, straightness, and mechanical properties including yield strength, tensile strength and elongation, in accordance with IS 4923.
