Boiler and Heat Exchanger Tubes from Newton are seamless carbon and alloy steel tubes manufactured specifically for heat transfer applications where dimensional accuracy, internal surface finish and thermal conductivity performance are critical to equipment efficiency and safety. Newton manufactures Boiler and Heat Exchanger Tubes to ASTM A179 (cold-drawn low-carbon steel for heat exchangers and condensers), ASTM A210 Grade A1/C (seamless carbon steel for high-temperature boiler service), and ASTM A213 (seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel tubes for boilers, superheaters and heat exchangers), in outer diameters from 1/2″ to 4″ with wall thicknesses selected to match the design pressure and temperature of the application.

These tubes are used in industrial and utility boilers, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, condensers, superheaters and economizers across power generation, process industries, refineries and HVAC equipment manufacturing. Their close dimensional tolerance ensures proper fit within tube sheets and baffles during heat exchanger fabrication, while their internal surface finish supports efficient, low-fouling heat transfer over the equipment’s service life.

Every tube is subjected to hydrostatic or eddy-current testing, flattening and flaring tests, and dimensional and mechanical property verification, with mill test certificates issued in accordance with the specified ASTM grade. Alloy grades under A213 (T5, T9, T11, T22, T91) are heat-treated to the required normalized-and-tempered condition and tested for hardness and grain structure to confirm suitability for high-temperature boiler service.
