Mild Steel (MS) Black ERW Pipes from Newton are electric resistance welded, ungalvanized steel pipes designed for structural, fabrication and general industrial piping applications where a raw or painted steel finish is preferred over galvanizing. Manufactured to IS 1239 (Part 1) and IS 3601 as well as equivalent ASTM A53 specifications, Newton’s MS Black Pipes are available from 15mm (1/2″) NB up to 600mm (24″ NB), with wall thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 20mm across light, medium and heavy classes. The black, oiled finish protects the pipe surface during transit and storage while remaining ready for on-site painting, coating or further fabrication.

These pipes are extensively used in structural steel frameworks, furniture manufacturing, gates and grills, water and gas piping (non-potable), casing pipes for borewells, and general engineering fabrication.
