250 GSM is the top of Newton’s standard woven coated tarp range and the heaviest grade carrying full IS 7903 Type II lab certification, with breaking strength climbing to 1100N warp and 900N weft, trapezoid tear strength of 130N minimum, and puncture resistance rated at 350N. This is the specification buyers reach for when a cover needs to survive years of continuous outdoor exposure and rough industrial handling without failing at the seams or wearing thin at contact points.

The double-side coated HDPE weave construction stays consistent across the range, but the added mass at 250 GSM delivers meaningfully higher abrasion resistance — a property that matters most in applications where the tarp is dragged, folded and re-deployed daily rather than left in place. UV stabilizer built into the tape and coating during extrusion keeps colour and flexibility stable through extended sun exposure, and welded seams retain 85 percent of their original strength even after accelerated UV testing.

Blue and Black are offered as stock colours, with Red, Yellow, Olive Green, Brick Orange and Silver available on order subject to MOQ, and both roll width and cut length are customizable to the buyer’s exact specification.
