The 100gsm PP weed mat is an all-round grade for farms, nurseries and greenhouses. This woven polypropylene ground cover is tested to ASTM methods: 667 N grab tensile, 1735 N CBR puncture, over 70% strength kept after UV exposure. Standard widths 1.2, 1.8 and 3.66 m.

Our 100 GSM PP weed mat is the grade with a full tested data sheet: 100 g/m² ±5% (ASTM D5261), grab tensile 667 N MD and CD at 15% elongation (ASTM D4632), trapezoidal tear 290 N (ASTM D4533) and CBR puncture 1735 N (ASTM D6241). After 500 hours of UV exposure it keeps more than 70% of its strength (ASTM D4355), and water flows through at about 200 litres per minute per m² (ASTM D4491). Typical Uses for 100 GSM Weed Control Ground Cover
This is the one we recommend when a buyer is unsure. It works in crop fields and orchards, under potted plants in nurseries, in greenhouses and polytunnels, and in commercial landscaping. Fix it with steel staples or plastic pins, and space them closer in windy sites. Leave some overlap at joins because woven PP can shrink up to 4% in direct sun.

Rolls are wound on cardboard cores and wrapped in PE film, with a label showing GSM, size and batch. We quote ex-factory, FOB Nhava Sheva, CFR or CIF, and the roll count per container is confirmed at final loading.

How does it compare with the 110 GSM weed mat?
The 110 GSM grade carries about 10% more polymer, with grab tensile near 735 N and CBR around 1900 N. Greenhouse floors with trolleys benefit from it. Open field rows usually do not need the extra weight.

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and the batch test report against the ASTM methods above. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek is available on request.
