Dhoop Sticks

Dhoop sticks are stickless incense: a thick paste of herbs, resins, woods and natural binders pressed into sticks and dried. With no bamboo core, they release a dense, rich smoke and are traditional in Indian prayer.

Dhoop making is an age-old craft of the artisanal communities of Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka, often linked to temple traditions. Fragrances are ethnic and devotional, such as guggal, loban and sandalwood, alongside contemporary style blends for wellness brands. The deep, smoky aromas evoke the colours of India, and each Indian handicraft batch is mixed and dried by hand.
