A cotton summer blanket in dohar style has two contrasting cotton faces with a thin layer between them, stitched together so it can be used either way up. It is lighter than a quilt, warmer than a sheet and ideal for warm climates.
This blanket draws on the age-old craft of Indian dohar making by artisanal communities in Jaipur and Panipat. We make it in a contemporary style with solid colours on one side and traditional block prints or ethnic prints on the other, in the colours of India. The Indian fabric is soft, breathable cotton, and each handicraft blanket is finished with neat edging.
