Wooden Ottoman Tray

A wooden ottoman tray is a large, deep-sided tray that turns a soft ottoman or bed into a stable surface for drinks, books and remotes. Ours is joined from solid Indian timber with dovetail or dowel corners and wide cut-out handles that are easy to grip when the tray is loaded.

Jodhpur furniture makers belong to artisanal communities whose joinery is an age-old craft, and this tray brings that handwork into a contemporary style piece for modern living rooms. Finishes range from natural wood to white wash and black, with optional ethnic carved borders. The timber tones are the earthy colours of India, and as a handicraft product, grain and colour vary slightly between trays.
