Woven Wall Basket Set

A woven wall basket set is a group of flat, round baskets in different sizes and patterns, designed to hang together as a wall display. Each basket is coiled or woven by hand from natural fibres.

Basket weaving is an age-old craft of the artisanal communities of Odisha, West Bengal and Assam. Patterns are ethnic geometrics and contemporary style minimal weaves, in natural tones with dyed accents in the colours of India. Each Indian handicraft basket is woven by hand.

Questions

How many baskets are in a woven wall basket set?

Usually three to seven, in mixed sizes.

Can they be used as trays?

Yes, they work as fruit and bread trays too.

Can you dye custom colours?

Yes, from about 100 sets.

Are they fumigated?

Yes, with certificates.

What is the minimum order?

Around 50 sets.

How are wall baskets arranged?

Start with the largest basket at the centre and build outwards with smaller ones, mixing patterns and colours. Lay them out on the floor first, then use a nail or adhesive hook for each loop. A group of five to seven baskets fills a wall above a sofa or bed, and the arrangement can be changed with the seasons.
