Block Print Cotton Curtains

Block print cotton curtains are printed by hand with carved wooden blocks before being cut and stitched into panels. The cotton filters light softly, so the print glows when the sun comes through, and the panels can be lined for more privacy and better drape.

Traditional block prints are an age-old craft of the artisanal communities of Sanganer and Bagru, and curtains show the Indian fabric across a large surface. We print classic ethnic florals and buta designs, as well as contemporary style stripes and small geometrics, so the colours of India suit both traditional and modern rooms. Each handicraft panel shows small variations from hand printing, which is part of its charm.

Questions

Can block print cotton curtains be lined?

Yes, with cotton or blackout lining.

Can you make custom drops?

Yes, any width and drop from 100 panels.

Do you supply matching cushions?

Yes, cushion covers in the same print.

Will the print fade in sunlight?

All cotton prints soften gradually in strong sun; a lining slows this considerably.
