Newton 150 GSM Woven Coated Tarp

Stepping up to 150 GSM, this woven coated tarp is built for extended outdoor exposure and heavier handling cycles than the lighter grades in the range. The single-layer HDPE weave is coated on both faces, and at this thickness the fabric holds its shape well under tension — a property that matters when a tarp is lashed down tight over a truck load or stretched across a shed frame for weeks at a time.

This weight falls within the range that Newton qualifies as IS 7903 Type I certified for heavy-duty long-haul use, with lab-tested breaking strength, elongation, weld seam retention and puncture resistance figures backing every roll. UV stabilizer compounded into the polymer during extrusion keeps the sheet flexible and colour-stable through prolonged sun exposure, and welded seams retain 85 percent of their original breaking strength even after 144 hours of accelerated UV testing.

Red, Silver and Yellow are offered as stock colours at 150 GSM, while Blue, Black, Olive Green and Brick Orange can be produced to order. As with the rest of the range, width and length are cut to the buyer’s specification rather than fixed panel sizes.
