The jute table runner is cut from woven hessian made from jute fibre in West Bengal, India’s jute heartland. Jute is a fast-growing, rain-fed crop that needs little fertiliser, and the fibre is fully biodegradable, which gives this runner a strong eco story.
We offer several finishes: plain hessian with a stitched hem, hessian with cotton lace along both edges for weddings, hessian with frayed or tasselled ends, and braided jute runners for a heavier, textured look. Natural golden-brown is standard, with bleached and lightly dyed versions on request.
