Semolina, known in India as suji or rava, is a coarsely milled wheat product widely used in upma, halwa, pasta, couscous, and a range of bakery and breakfast preparations, and Newton Exports supplies bulk export-grade semolina to international food manufacturers and distributors. Following the Directorate General of Foreign Trade’s notification of 24 August 2026 moving semolina, along with wheat, maida, and atta, from “Prohibited” to “Free” export status, Indian semolina is now available to international buyers without the restrictions that had applied since 2022. This comes at a time of elevated global wheat prices driven by Black Sea supply disruptions, making Indian semolina an increasingly attractive option for pasta manufacturers, breakfast-cereal producers, and food distributors looking to diversify sourcing.

Export packaging includes 25 kg and 50 kg PP woven bags with BOPP lamination and moisture-barrier inner liners suited for long ocean transit, along with 500-1,000 kg FIBC jumbo bags for bulk industrial buyers such as pasta and cereal manufacturers.
