The Tata Wiron BS 5896-1980 Standard Grade Strand is Tata Wiron (Tata Steel)’s answer to UK and Gulf-region contracts still written against the original 1980 edition of BS 5896.

Certified to BS 5896-1980, Standard, the strand is available across seven diameter-and-grade combinations from 9.30 mm to 15.20 mm across the 1670–1860 MPa grade band, each covered by the same TUV NORD DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 certified management system that governs Tata Wiron’s Tarapur wire division.
